This model was found dead alongside the service road in Northwest Houston. Her body was discovered by authorities at 8:30 a.m, on 30 November 2020. The statement which was released by her mother revealed that Alexis was reported missing since November 27. 

As per the Forensic report, there were visible wounds on her body. Alexis Sharkey died of a gunshot wound. Many news outlets revealed that her husband Tom Sharkey was suspected of killing her.
